General Information

WOOF park is currently located in Shell Park in Oakville Ontario in the former baseball diamond, just past the Skate Park. W.O.O.F. is a group of dedicated dog owners who enjoy letting their dogs run off-leash and socialize (and their owners too!). W.O.O.F. in co-operation with R-Dog (Post Park), petitioned and negotiated with the Town of Oakville to obtain an off-leash area. A one year pilot project was completed in April of 1998. The Town of Oakville requires that the off-leash area be managed, monitored and financed by a community group (W.O.O.F. was created to fulfill this function).

Fundraising\Membership

Membership fees cover the cost of signage and maintenance of the facilities.  Membership forms can be located in the mailbox between the front gate of the park or can be downloaded from the membership page.
